1. GET RID of Flock Cameras
Fort Collins, Denver, and Longmont have canceled Flock camera contracts. Under Jamo’s leadership, Boulder will not be silent in the fight against 4th amendment violations by private companies. 2. Make Boulder More Affordable
Large rental management companies have taken over Boulder. Currently, all landlords in Boulder pay an $80 excise tax annually on their long-term dwelling units. By raising this tax on large rental management companies, we can effectively pass it along to wealthy, out-of-state students, generating funds to support affordable housing, combat homelessness, and fight wildfires, all while protecting property owners who are members of our community.
3. Revamp Parking
Boulder parking is stressful, expensive, and a nightmare—especially for students. Boulder’s parking operations are structured as an enterprise fund supported by user fees rather than general tax dollars—this incentivizes the adoption of confusing, aggressive, and annoying parking policies for profit. As mayor, Jamo will implement a four-step plan to improve parking in Boulder at no extra cost to the taxpayer.

As a lifelong Buffs fan, Jamo frequently recounts attending CU Football games with his dad as a kid. Passionate about students’ rights and making student life easier, Jamo vows to support the harmonious relationship between the University of Colorado Boulder, its associated research institutions, and the City.
He is proudly enrolled at the University of Colorado Boulder studying Philosophy. He is in the business fraternity and previously studied finance. He plans to graduate in 2028.
